Dr. Troutman

Dr. Troutman moved to Mountain Home from the Jonesboro/Paragould area where she grew up, attended ASU, raised her children, and began her veterinary medicine career. Felice was a high school teacher at Walnut Ridge prior to graduating from Louisiana State University in 2012. Her special interest in veterinary medicine is small animal preventative medicine. Felice and her husband, Tracy, were drawn to the area by its abundant natural beauty. Outside of veterinary medicine, Felice enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Felice and Tracy share an enthusiasm for TRYING new hobbies such as stain glass art, soapmaking, and skydiving. Mainstay activities for the couple include camping, fishing, and kayaking in the Twin Lakes Area.

Sarah Walker

Sarah Walker was born and raised in Houma, Louisiana, where she was a part of the ‘million dollar band from gator land’. She moved to the Twin Lakes Area in her junior year and graduated from Yellville. She and her husband, Greg, have three beautiful children and a beautiful 40-acre hobby farm where they fish, hunt, and ride horses. Sarah has worked as a waitress and in retail. Without really knowing what career path she wanted, her love of animals eventually guided her to the veterinary field. When her pug had an unfortunate run in with her horse in 2005, she frequented Dr. Sloan’s veterinary clinic for a year of treatment for her pet. Sarah had found what she wanted to do, helping pets and their owners, which she was able to do after Dr. Sloan offered her a job at his clinic. After some time out of the veterinary field, Sarah looks forward to working with Dr. Troutman and doing what she loves again!

Mandy’s passion is taking care of animals! Growing up, she always wanted to be a veterinarian, but feels being a Vet Tech is just as satisfying.  She graduated from Mountain Home High School in 2001. Mandy became a Vet Tech in 2010 and has continued living her passion in the veterinary field. When she isn’t at work or tending to her children and pets, Mandy is often busy taking care of foster pets.

Patty Zulfer

Patty Zulfer moved to the Mountain Home area in 2004. She began working in the veterinary field at age 16 and graduated veterinary technician school from Parkland College in Champaign, Il in 1994.  Since graduating she has put forth a lot of time to foster and rehabilitate animals to be returned to their owners or be placed with new owners.  This is definitely where her heart and soul lie.  In December of 2018 she was married to a wonderful man named Jeff.  With this new marriage and blended families, there are 9 kids and 9 grandkids!  To top it all off they love and care for 12 dogs, four cats, 3 pet rats and a snake.
